Two girls missing from KC Metro

(Wed. May 10, 2017) Kansas City, MO–

Two KC metro girls have been reported missing as of 11:20 p.m. May 9, 2017. The young ladies, Martiniece Whitley, 12 and Casia Starr, 11, were last seen on the 4500 block of 111th st. Mothers of both young ladies ask that anyone who knows anything,  to please come forward. It is unclear whether the girls were kidnapped or runaways, either way the young ladies are missed at home.

Many read the alerts and stories as another missing persons case, by others it is been labeled as an unfortunate trend. In recent months, multiple individuals have come up missing only to be found in fatal conditions. It is important that an answer is surfaced for not only the relatives of missing or kidnapped victims but locals of the community. Parents, guardians, children, etc., should not have to worry about the security of their children within their own communities.

The story is still developing as the search for the two young ladies continues. The teakettleblog will keep readers informed on any updates and details.
